C2 selective hydrogenation catalyst
At present, the ethylene (C2) fraction mainly comes from units that use diesel, naphtha, or light hydrocarbons as raw materials for cracking, units that use methanol as raw material to produce ethylene (MTO), and other processes for producing ethylene. The C2 fraction produced by these devices usually contains 0.2-2% acetylene, which is a toxic substance in the ethylene polymerization process and must be removed.
Catalytic selective hydrogenation is an effective method for removing trace amounts of acetylene from ethylene. Under the action of a catalyst, through the reaction of H2 and acetylene hydrogenation to produce ethylene, acetylene can be reduced to ≤ 0.5ppm, while ethylene does not lose or even increase.
This catalyst is suitable for the above process
